Class is something that began in the beginning of time. People had class and that was that. Matter of fact, you were ranked by classes. Today, we will explore the difference between Class and 'Swag'.
Let's begin, I read on the holy grail that is Tumblr someone posted 'Who needs class, when I have swag?' Obviously referring to classrooms. However, this brought up a crucial subject. What happened to class? When people looked prim and proper and well.... Frankly, presentable. Now people think that their pants around their knees is cute.
IT'S NOT.
Continuing, don't you think its a little sad that people cannot even put on slacks when wearing a nice jacket that goes with a suit? I would like to know when putting on a white tee, gold chain, jacket, boxers, and skinny jeans with a white belt was considered being dressed up. Clearly, I missed that demo. And don't you dare through the 'oh but some people can't afford all that' this entire description was based on Justin Bieber at the Billboards. So thanks.
Furthermore, can some bitch PUHLEASE tell me why girls can wear dresses and spend HOURS to look their best when a guy cannot even put on a belt to keep his trousers up. Call me a feminist, call me a bitch, but I firmly believe that women are human as well and if women go the extra mile, then a man should do the same. Feminism is the crazy idea that women are humans too. Anyways, getting off track. I just say that if a guy can't look nice, why is a woman expected to?
I won't lie, I mean, its my blog, I have never been a fan of sagging, I've never been a fan of any of it. Quite frankly, its society and what we are looking up to. Maybe that's why I chose to look up to people who have CLASS. Who can dress when they are going to an event in something other than a white tee and skinnies.
There is a time and place for everything. Class is a must. Swag is not relevant. I see people always make jokes about people who claim they have swag and why do they need class? People expect people who act like that to be taking their order at McDonald's. It's a mess, to be completely honest. I'm not one to judge, but if the shoe fits, bitch you best wear it.
In conclusion, keep the class, swag needs to go. I'd rather spend HOURS dressing up to look my best than to throw on khakis, a tee and a snapback. It's laziness, tbcfh.
I always wondered what society would end up being the chain result of all stupidity of the past. Guess we've found it.
Always serving the tea hot and true,
